Initial Assessment (90 minutes): £180.

All therapy begins with a comprehensive 90-minute assessment.

Following this I will write you a letter that acknowledges the understanding developed and the plan we have created.

Therapy fees include the therapy session, creation of personalised therapeutic tools (e.g., therapeutic letters, therapy maps), and administrative tasks (e.g. reviewing outcome measures, scheduling sessions, responding to emails / answering your questions).

Insurance Cover

I also accept referrals from people covered by BUPA, AVIVA, AXA, Healix and others. Please get in touch to discuss your insurance cover specifically.

What is and isn’t covered:

It's wonderful that many insurance plans help with the cost of therapy! Let’s be clear about what insurance covers and what you may be liable to pay yourself.

  • Most insurance typically supports one 60-minute session per week, and if you're interested in other session lengths, just ask me about any potential additional costs.

  • Insurance reimbursement rates can sometimes differ from my standard private fee of £120 for a 60-minute session. If your insurance covers less than this for a 60-minute session, we can chat about how to manage the remaining balance.

  • Insurance companies typically request that the excess payable for the cover is paid directly to the therapist or practitioner. Prior to our first session, please check with your provider who the excess is payable to and how much it is. This will need to be paid prior to therapy starting.

  • Insurance companies don’t typically cover cancellation fees, you'll be responsible for the full session fee for cancellations with less notice than required (see below for details of cancellation policy).

Cancellation Policy

Life happens, and I understand you might need to adjust your therapy appointment. To help me manage my schedule, sustain my business, and support everyone, I simply ask for a little notice if you can't make it.

  • Regular Sessions: Please let me know at least 48 hours in advance if you need to cancel or reschedule.

  • Immersive Sessions: For these longer sessions, I appreciate 7 days' notice for any changes.

When you book an appointment, that time is reserved just for you. If I don't receive enough notice to offer it to someone else, the full session fee will apply for both private and insurance covered clients.
